REVELATION: THE EYE TO THE PATH
A handmade artist book about seeing, following, and becoming aware of what was already there.
I made REVELATION: The Eye to the Path as a small vessel for intuition.
The eye embedded in the cover asks you to look closer. The path does not necessarily represent a road or destination. It can be a memory, an intuition, a question, a dream, a place, or a feeling that asks to be followed.
The book brings together natural pigments, Mayan huun paper, Amate paper, and sea glass collected from Greece. Each material carries its own history of transformation: paper made from plants, pigment drawn from the earth, and glass gradually shaped by the movement of the sea.
Together they form a small landscape held within the structure of a book.
The interior contains green pages left open for your own marks.
Write. Draw. Collect fragments. Record dreams. Make observations. Follow an idea.
The pages are intentionally unfinished because the book is meant to change through your encounter with it.

I am interested in books not only as containers for language, but as containers for experience.
A book can hold a poem, a drawing, a memory, a list, a question, a fragment of a day. It can become an object we return to and, over time, a record of how we have changed.
REVELATION begins with an empty path.
What you place inside becomes part of its journey.
