About

Calle Soledad Presa is an artist-run experimental rasquache press founded by Diana Lizette Rodriguez in San Antonio, Texas. Born from time meditations inside the Central Public Library on Soledad Street, the press publishes poetry books, art books, Códices, Tapes, and more—each piece handmade and one of one. Working with what we have, the visible and invisible, Calle Soledad Presa guides artists, poets, writers, and first-time bookmakers through the book-making process as a spiritual practice. We rethink and reimagine what the book can be, believing in the transmission of things unseen—shared only in a single time and space.
